Avanade develops new intranet for Orion, based on SharePoint

Orion found its intranet falling short of its vision as a daily collaborative tool for information sharing and end‑user self‑service, leaving users without an effective platform to find and share knowledge.

The solution was a new intranet/collaboration platform built on MOSS 2007 and integrated with FAST search, enabling better access to and sharing of information across the portal. The combined FAST and SharePoint solution improved findability and strengthened collaboration between users.
