Kiwa Register, which has supplied value documents and permits for a Dutch Ministry since 2010, needed to consolidate and streamline disparate handling systems across its air, sea and land divisions—ranging from paper forms and PDFs to fully automated solutions—to reduce costs and optimize processes by building a single, unified platform.
Avanade delivered a flexible Enterprise Service Bus platform using BizTalk Server 2010, SharePoint 2010 and CRM 2011, applying Service-Oriented Architecture patterns so business processes can be quickly created or adjusted. The solution improved business agility by enabling chained processing steps and faster time to market, provided processing-time visibility via BizTalk Activity Monitoring to support SLAs, and initiated application rationalization across Kiwa’s IT landscape.
