Acertys, a €50 million medical-equipment and supplies group formed in 2007 from several Dutch and Belgian companies, operated as disconnected units with separate accounting systems and limited visibility into products and customers. The fragmented back office reduced efficiency and customer service, so Acertys sought a centralized ERP to unify its five legal entities across Belgium and the Netherlands.
Avanade implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX—starting with accounting and logistics across three locations and adding warehouse scanners and guided picking—while rolling out CRM and project modules. The result was centralized data and consolidated accounting, shared stock visibility across sites, faster order fulfillment, improved reporting and profitability insight, and streamlined warehouse and service operations.
