Case Study: KNAPP AG achieves efficient version management with AUVESY-MDT

KNAPP AG, a logistics and automation specialist, needed a better way to manage complex customer projects and version control across its operations. In 2009, the company was looking for an efficient solution to replace cumbersome manual versioning methods, and it turned to AUVESY-MDT’s version control software.

AUVESY-MDT implemented software that automatically versions and archives projects, saves only changes to reduce data volume, and enables fast recovery and secure access to source code and programs. The result was 1,429 projects and more than 5,720 versions being managed, with easier access for employees, safer storage on servers or in the cloud, and expanded use to sites in Leoben and Sweden.
