The German family business S. Siedle & Söhne, a specialist in building communication technology, faced significant pressure on its warehouse operations due to business expansion. Their existing high-bay warehouse had reached its limits in storage and retrieval capacity, making a change in logistics essential to meet customer and production demands for reliability and performance. The vendor, AutoStore, implemented an automated storage and retrieval system, empowered by partner Dematic. The solution, launched during ongoing operations, consists of a grid with 12,571 bins serviced by nine robots. This has maximized storage capacity and dramatically increased the team's efficiency.
