Radwell International, a supplier of industrial automation parts and repair services, faced significant challenges in its warehouse operations, including a lack of storage space and a picking speed that was too slow to efficiently manage its inventory of 12 million SKUs. To address these fulfillment issues, the company turned to the AutoStore warehouse automation system, implemented with the help of partner Swisslog.

The solution from AutoStore utilized a grid-based system with 34 robots to retrieve bins, dramatically increasing operational efficiency. This implementation resulted in a 400% increase in pick productivity, going from 120 picks per eight-hour period to 450 picks per hour. Radwell also gained 30% more storage capacity within the same warehouse footprint, leading to major cost savings and supporting further business growth for the family-run company.
