Medline, a major healthcare manufacturer and distributor, sought a goods-to-person automation solution to adapt to changing order profiles and support its significant growth. The solution involved deploying 20 AutoStore systems across Medline's network over a ten-year period. This implementation enabled Medline to improve pick rates by 2 to 4 times at each site and maintain next-day delivery to 95% of the U.S. with a high degree of accuracy. The automation from AutoStore provided the speed, reliability, and flexibility required to handle growing order volumes, which was instrumental in the company's growth and established it as a supply chain leader in the healthcare industry.
