GEODIS Deploys High-Throughput AutoStore System for Maurices

GEODIS, a major global third-party logistics (3PL) provider, faced challenges managing the vast and complex inventory of its client, fashion retailer Maurices. Due to the growth of eCommerce, rising order volumes, and labor market pressures, GEODIS needed a high-throughput, scalable fulfillment solution to handle thousands of SKUs across multiple channels. They turned to vendor AutoStore for a system to meet these demands.

The solution deployed was the AutoStore automated storage and retrieval system, implemented by partner Bastian Solutions. This system, featuring 320 robots and 92,000 bins, integrated seamlessly with GEODIS’s existing warehouse operations. The results were significant: AutoStore helped GEODIS reduce operating costs by 30%, boost labor efficiency by 60%, and gain the capacity to handle up to 250,000 units per day to support future growth.
