A AutoStore Case Study
Adalbert Zajadacz GmbH & Co. KG, a leading electrical wholesale distributor in Germany, faced a challenge meeting rising customer demands for overnight delivery from its Hamburg warehouse. With growing order volumes creating pressure on fulfillment operations, the company needed an automated solution to improve speed, accuracy, and reliability within its limited space. To address this, Zajadacz partnered with AutoStore to implement a modern warehouse automation system.
The solution from AutoStore, implemented by AM Logistic Solutions, integrated an automated storage and retrieval system with precise order fulfillment. This included 52 robots working across multiple ports to retrieve items for packing. The results were significant, enabling same-day shipping and processing speeds of 1,300 container deliveries per hour with enhanced picking accuracy. The AutoStore system also maximized storage capacity within the existing footprint, providing a scalable foundation for Zajadacz's future growth and expansion into new business models.
