Leading Digital Media Company, a large integrated broadcasting, publishing and digital media firm, faced repeated release-management pain: duplicated change sets across sandboxes, many unreleased stories stuck in QA and pre-prod, frequent sandbox refreshes that lost recent work, and the overhead of a full-time resource to manage monthly releases. To address this, the customer deployed AutoRABIT’s solution using AutoRABIT tools alongside Git version control and an EZ‑Commits labeling approach.
AutoRABIT implemented labeled commits, Git branching and CI jobs to automate deployments across sandboxes and promote validated code to production, making release management an integral part of the development team. As a result, AutoRABIT helped the customer eliminate the dedicated release engineer and saved about $100,000 per year, reduced roughly 300 hours of manual work, enabled more frequent sandbox refreshes, and allowed the team to include a few more user stories per sprint.
