FuelPanda, a Bay Area startup that provides on‑site refueling for commercial fleets (10–150 vehicles), faced poor visibility into where its fueling trucks were and depended on manual driver check‑ins that caused missed arrivals, scheduling disruptions and accounting errors. To solve this, FuelPanda integrated the Automile API—using Automile’s geofence and trip/time‑on‑move features—to add reliable location and timing data to its platform.
Automile delivers real‑time vehicle location, geofence enter/exit events and trip/time‑on‑move details that FuelPanda feeds into Twilio and SendGrid notifications and its dispatch and accounting systems. By using Automile, FuelPanda removed manual check‑in errors, gained transparent arrival and shift timing data for billing and payroll, and improved on‑time service visibility for customers.
