LGT Group automates Avaloq workload with Automic

LGT Group, owned by the Princely House of Liechtenstein, is a private- and institutional-wealth manager that decided to move from aging homegrown NATURAL/mainframe banking applications to the Avaloq banking system. To support that migration and ongoing operations, LGT needed an enterprise job scheduler to automate Avaloq processing, integrate 20+ external applications, manage workload across a global WAN and provide centralized control and monitoring.

LGT implemented Automic Workload Automation with a certified Avaloq adapter to centralize job definitions across five production Avaloq instances and automate period‑end and high‑volume processing. The solution provided end‑to‑end visibility, dynamic workload management, auditing and secure communications, enabling parallel execution, faster throughput, fewer errors and automatic restart/recovery — reducing maintenance overhead and improving resource utilization.
