ETB Accelerated Data Extraction & Processing with AutomationEdge’s RPA Solution

ETB, a Colombian telecommunications company serving homes, businesses and government from Bogota, faced a massive data reconciliation challenge: managing inventories for 6,720 pieces of equipment and roughly 1.65 million customer IDs while meeting 24/7 migration and phase-wise execution deadlines. To address this, ETB partnered with AutomationEdge and deployed AutomationEdge’s RPA solution to automate data extraction and reconciliation across Ericsson and Huawei (N2000/U2000) platforms.

AutomationEdge implemented RPA bots to pull network element inventory, MAC IDs, IP reports and CPE/IP information, then run a Recon Bot to sort and reconcile results into a consolidated spreadsheet. The AutomationEdge solution cut DSL subscriber reconciliation turnaround time by 80% (reducing extraction/reconciliation from about 6 months to 3 months), delivered 100% accuracy, and saved the equivalent of 25 FTEs.
