Auburn Community Hospital Achieved 90% Process Efficiency Improvement with AutomationEdge

Auburn Community Hospital (ACH), a 99-bed not-for-profit serving roughly 80,000 people in Cayuga County, struggled with manual, error-prone workflows across revenue cycle tasks—human errors in superbill creation, slow patient pre-registration, and time-consuming insurance authorization. To reduce manual dependency and improve process efficiency, ACH partnered with AutomationEdge and implemented the AutomationEdge CareFlo automation platform.

AutomationEdge deployed CareFlo to automate superbill creation, patient pre-registration and authorization by extracting and validating patient data, integrating with MEDENT and Paragon EHRs, maintaining audit logs and raising exception alerts.
