AccentCare, a US-based acute healthcare provider with more than 45 years’ experience and a network of 22,000 professionals serving 90,000 patients, struggled with high-volume, error-prone manual tasks — including ~5,000 ad‑hoc patient appointments, ~400 referrals, and heavy tablet asset transactions — that caused long turnaround times and frequent human errors. To tackle this, AccentCare partnered with AutomationEdge to apply Robotic Process Automation (RPA) across its EMR, referral and device-management workflows.

AutomationEdge deployed RPA bots to automate EMR scheduler updates (Homecare Homebase/Skedulo), referral updates (Allscripts/naviHealth/Salesforce) and tablet provisioning/asset management (ServiceNow, Verizon/AT&T, AirWatch), handling data lookups, status checks and notifications end-to-end. The AutomationEdge solution eliminated large portions of manual effort and delivered measurable gains — about 70% faster EMR scheduler processing and roughly an 80% reduction in manual effort for tablet asset management — while improving referral handling time and overall process reliability.
