Wam Group Implements First A2019 Bot, Expects R$3m Savings in Next Two Years

WAM Group (formerly WAM Brasil), founded in 2013, is a market leader in fractional real estate ownership in Brazil with more than 50% market share. After identifying repetitive, manual work across Finance, Tax and Research—and facing a sudden shift to remote operations during COVID-19—the company sought cloud-based robotic process automation to improve end-to-end efficiency and free employees to focus on customer relationships.

WAM’s CIO chose Automation Anywhere, moving from v11 to the cloud-native Enterprise A2019 to deploy bots quickly and without heavy infrastructure; the first bot was built in a week and a key data-entry bot (“Marvin”) was deployed in 10 days. The automation now consolidates data from 37 offices, runs 24/7, and has put WAM on track to save 1,000+ hours annually now, target 40,000 hours by 2022, and roughly $1M in annual savings over the next two years as the company scales to 15+ bots across 10 systems.
