Mantrac Group, a leading Caterpillar dealer serving Asia, Africa and the Middle East, faced rapidly growing transaction volumes and a rising number of supplier systems as it expanded its catalog. That growth created a manual-data-entry bottleneck—handling 300–500 line-item parts orders from multiple unintegrated systems—that the existing finance and supply-chain staff could not sustain.
Working with implementation partner First Gulf Solutions, Mantrac ran a three-month proof of concept using Automation Anywhere to automate customer remittance and multi-brand invoice processing. Bots extracted and reconciled invoice data, logged payments, and fed enriched records into the legacy UNA+ system, delivering an 85% time-efficiency improvement (1,000+ hours/199 FTE days saved), a 0% error rate, a 400% improvement in remittance work, and 50% of multi-brand invoices processed outside business hours. The automation freed staff, enabled faster expansion decisions, and Mantrac plans to scale to 10 automated processes and establish a CoE.
