Real estate company to save nearly $8M with RPA

BRC, a diversified real estate and investment group founded in 1990 and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, faced rapid expansion in 2018–2019 that created fragmented, manual financial processes across new subsidiaries. The Financial Shared Service Center needed standardized, scalable operations to handle increased workload without adding headcount.

BRC deployed Robotic Process Automation, rolling out its first bot in three weeks and automating 17 back-end processes (including fund payments, bank reconciliation, and commercial invoicing). Today it runs 100 bots on Automation Anywhere, delivering 100% process accuracy, a 50% efficiency gain, a monthly savings of about 300 hours, and a projected $7.9M in savings over three years, with plans to expand RPA use further.
