A Automation Anywhere Case Study
Husch Blackwell, a U.S. law firm of about 700 attorneys across 19 offices, faced internal bottlenecks as staff spent time on repetitive, manual tasks. After learning about Robotic Process Automation (RPA) at a conference, the firm developed a pipeline of automation use cases to address these inefficiencies.
The firm ran proof-of-concept projects and built an RPA program tailored to legal work—automating conflict checks and daily potential-litigation alerts to free employees from manual scanning. Results include 100% automated email alerts for potential clients, about 800 hours saved annually, and 13 automation ideas in the pipeline; the firm is now adopting cognitive IQ Bot to process court documents and further accelerate business development and knowledge management.
