JBS RPA Program Achieves $4 Million Lifetime Savings Across Their Entire Organization

JBS, a global food company with 150+ locations and the #1 beef and #2 pork and poultry producer in the U.S., faced widespread repetitive, manual work across business units as it pursued more efficient, innovative operations beginning in 2019. To meet sustainability and productivity goals, JBS sought robotic process automation to eliminate tedious tasks and standardize processes at scale.

Partnering with Automation Anywhere, JBS built a lean CoE (three U.S. and three Mexico members) to pilot, govern and train citizen developers, deploying 210+ bots across every department. The program delivered $4M in lifetime savings, $1M saved year‑over‑year since 2020, ~125,000 hours saved (~60 FTEs), 30 citizen developers and 200+ automated processes — examples include a pricing bot saving 390 hours/year, a shipping bot saving ~220 hours/week and CAD$250k/year, and live‑yield automation that improved plant efficiency.
