A top-30 U.S. bank partnered with Ernst & Young and Automation Anywhere to tackle heavy manual effort across rules-based mortgage tasks—document ordering, data entry and verification—that were time-consuming, error-prone and increased regulatory risk across its mortgage operations.

After a two-month pilot, the bank deployed Automation Anywhere RPA to automate flood certification ordering/data extraction, USPS address verification and mortgage QA/QC document gathering. The automation delivered capacity gains with more than $1M in potential annual savings, 2–3x greater efficiency as RPA scales, zero errors in regulated processes, and identified additional global opportunities for millions in efficiency and risk reduction.
