Digital empowerment to help transform refugee lives

Robo Co-op is a refugee-led cooperative that provides digital skills training and job inclusion through digital impact sourcing. Facing a global refugee crisis and a simultaneous shortage of digital workers, the organization needed an efficient, user-friendly way to teach automation technology so displaced people could rapidly access remote, in-demand digital jobs and overcome barriers such as language and limited reskilling opportunities.

Robo Co-op partnered with Automation Anywhere to launch the Global Gateway Program, using a no-code, AI-ready automation platform that enables refugees to gain professional automation skills in three months. The program aims to upskill 100 refugees by 2026 and create pathways toward 100,000 job opportunities, quickly turning trainees into digital service providers and expanding inclusive employment while helping employers scale automation and analytics.
