The manual process—logging into each system, collecting 50–100 settings per system, and uploading files to an FTP server—took about 15 minutes per system (over six hours total) and was time-consuming, error-prone, and costly.
ComRes used Automation Anywhere to record per‑IP tasks that log into client systems, extract configuration data and securely upload it to FTP, then turned those tasks into executables and chained 100+ jobs for scheduled runs; email notifications flag failures for quick fixes. The automation cut time and costs, reduced errors, enabled full system restores in minutes rather than days, and let the team rapidly create and deploy new customer tasks.
