Large Beverage Supplier's Enterprise, formed through a merger of several companies, faced a major back-office challenge: disparate manual work processes and an urgent need for digital transformation. The organization also wanted to reduce its reliance on costly external development partners and improve efficiency across its operations. It turned to Automation Anywhere and its citizen development approach to help employees begin automating their own work.

Automation Anywhere implemented a citizen development program with e-learning and hands-on training, enabling employees to build automations themselves. In just over a year, 850 employees completed training, about 150 created automations, and citizens delivered over 300 of the company’s 600 automations. The result was 300,000 work hours saved annually, while also boosting digital literacy and helping the workforce respond faster to future change.
