Case Study: Rawlinsons Eliminates Manual Data Entry with AutoEntry

A AutoEntry Case Study

Preview of the Rawlinsons Case Study

Rawlinsons partners with AutoEntry in order to eliminate manual data entry and support its cloud accounting services

Rawlinsons, a long-established accountancy practice serving sectors from agriculture and education to charity and the public sector, needed a better way to handle the growing volume of paper-based financial documents in its cloud accounting division, Rawlinsons Connect. The firm was spending too much time on manual data entry for bank and credit card statements, invoices, and receipts, creating back-office bottlenecks and time pressures. To address this, Rawlinsons partnered with AutoEntry and adopted its document data capture solution.

With AutoEntry, Rawlinsons automated the capture of data from scanned and photographed documents, including invoices with full line items, and integrated the results with cloud accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero. The result was faster bookkeeping, reduced human error, improved productivity, and lower cost and resource requirements, while also helping Rawlinsons prepare clients for Making Tax Digital (MTD). AutoEntry’s flexible credit-based pricing further allowed Rawlinsons to pay only for what it used and pass savings on to customers.
