Sweco Architects - Customer Case Study

Sweco Architects, one of Europe's leading architecture and engineering consultancies, faced the challenge of inefficient, siloed data and workflows that were impacting project efficiency and decision-making in the early planning stages. Their goal was to harness their valuable project knowledge, streamline processes to save time and resources, and offer more data-driven services to their clients. To tackle this, they adopted a digital transformation strategy centered around Autodesk's solutions, including Autodesk Forma.

The solution implemented with Autodesk was the development of Sweco's Digi M.A.P. methodology, which created a connected workflow using Autodesk Forma for early-stage massing studies and analysis, integrated with ArcGIS Pro and Revit. This approach provided a seamless, cloud-based connection between different project phases, eliminating data loss and manual remodeling. The results were substantial time savings, with some tasks reduced from days to hours. This allowed architects to reprioritize time towards design and informed decision-making, leading to better project outcomes and the ability to offer new, predictable services to clients.
