A Autodesk Case Study
Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB), a global professional services firm, needed to improve information-sharing and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, especially during the preconstruction phase. Working with Autodesk Construction Cloud, including Assemble, RLB aimed to create a more reliable single source of truth for project data and reduce inefficiencies caused by fragmented information and outdated workflows.
Autodesk helped RLB connect BIM data between design and construction, supporting cost verification, quantity takeoff, model conditioning, change management, scheduling, and design review. On a UK power plant project, RLB used Autodesk’s tools to identify errors and gaps faster, improve model checking and comparison, streamline remote collaboration, and produce more accurate cost estimates; the company is now rolling out the approach more broadly with company-wide learning and technology champions.
