BLDUS is an award-winning architecture firm based in Washington, DC, that sought to reinvent residential design by pioneering the use of sustainable, organic building materials. The software allowed for seamless BIM integration, rapid ideation, and precise tracking of sustainable materials. The result was the successful creation of the first code-compliant bamboo building on the East Coast, which sequesters five to six times more carbon than traditional wood framing and is 60% more thermally efficient, demonstrating Autodesk's role in bringing their sustainable vision to reality.
