Multiconsult, a leading Nordic multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, sought to transform the digital twin concept from a buzzword into a tangible product that delivered clear benefits for its clients. Their challenge was identifying the practical value and use cases for this technology and persuading building owners of its advantages in enhancing efficiency and sustainability.

To address this, Multiconsult collaborated with Autodesk and its Autodesk Tandem solution, alongside the building owner and a BMS provider. This partnership created a proof-of-concept digital twin that integrated real-time building performance data. As a result of using Autodesk Tandem, the building owner gained a holistic view of operations through a single interface, enabling near real-time monitoring, prompt action on insights, and optimized building management, with stakeholders agreeing it was a valuable solution for any building.
