Moxy hotel blends fun and interior design with AutoCAD LT

Wise Labo, led by Mitsuru (Mitch) Sakairi, is a Tokyo-based design studio that planned the interior for Marriott’s Moxy Osaka and pitched the upcoming Moxy Osaka Shin Umeda. Their challenge was turning a clear design concept into a consistent, shareable execution across a small, project‑oriented team while meeting the operational and budget constraints of a next‑generation hotel brand. To do this they relied on Autodesk tools, primarily AutoCAD LT.

Autodesk’s AutoCAD LT (including the mobile app and the DWG Compare feature introduced in 2019) enabled faster, more accurate collaboration: staff could access drawings remotely, share cloud files with partners, and automatically compare revisions so review diagrams were no longer needed. The result for Wise Labo was smoother information sharing, shorter review cycles and reduced work time, plus the stability and compatibility needed to deliver the Moxy Osaka project and win the Shin Umeda pitch.
