Mapping the places nobody wants to go with reality capture

ATTF is a French reality‑capture firm that surveys some of Europe’s most challenging and hazardous sites—nuclear plants, autonomous utilities, military installations, and high‑altitude hospitals. Faced with tight access windows, safety constraints, and the need for extremely accurate as‑built data, ATTF uses advanced hardware (stationary laser scanners, drones, and mobile mapping) and Autodesk tools such as ReCap and Revit to convert huge point clouds (often tens of millions of points) into precise 3D BIM models.

Autodesk’s ReCap was used to process, register, and clean site data, which ATTF exported to Revit to produce complete 3D models; combined with drones and mobile scanners, this workflow let the team scan a 215,000‑sq‑ft Alpine hospital in eight days (952 photos, 1,200 scans) and model it in about six weeks—months faster than traditional methods. By leveraging Autodesk solutions, ATTF delivers safer, faster surveys of dangerous sites, provides reusable, shareable BIM models for design teams, and minimizes on‑site exposure and project timelines.
