DPR Construction (DPR), a major general contractor headquartered in Redwood City, CA, partnered with Autodesk to pilot Autodesk Takeoff within Autodesk Construction Cloud to streamline its takeoff and quantification workflows. Facing tight preconstruction schedules and the need to better leverage Revit models alongside existing Assemble workflows, DPR sought a cloud-based solution to improve collaboration, organization, and the speed of 2D/3D quantification across distributed estimating and self-perform teams.

Autodesk implemented Autodesk Takeoff integrated with Revit and Autodesk Docs on a $100M life‑sciences pilot with more than 500 drawings, enabling real‑time collaboration, combined 2D/3D takeoffs, reusable formulas, and standardized file naming. The pilot reduced project setup time by 3–4 hours, made complex quantity calculations repeatable, improved estimator coordination across locations, and increased transparency—helping DPR move closer to faster, more accurate, real‑time estimating while saving time and resources with Autodesk.
