A Autodesk Case Study
DBA Group SpA, a Treviso‑based engineering and architecture firm, needed to deliver a complex hyperscale data‑centre campus (60,000 m², 7.5 MW IT capacity) while bringing a non‑technical client into collaborative workflows and reducing coordination inefficiencies. To address this challenge they adopted Autodesk’s cloud and BIM toolset—using Autodesk Construction Cloud (formerly BIM 360) as the common data environment alongside Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro from the AEC Collection.
Autodesk’s solution connected multidisciplinary teams and the client on a single model platform, enabling tracked issues, reduced email overload, and 4D/5D workflows tied to a WBS for better schedule and cost control. As a result DBA achieved roughly 30% design optimisation, cut typical error margins from about 10% to almost zero in the design phase, and produced a Digital Twin‑ready model—demonstrating measurable improvements in coordination, efficiency and lifecycle asset management enabled by Autodesk.
