Cundall Creates Inventive Building Designs with BIM

Cundall, a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with 21 offices, needed to coordinate complex, sustainable building projects and maintain consistent, collaborative BIM workflows across global teams. To address this challenge the firm adopted Autodesk solutions—principally the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) Collection and tools such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and BIM 360—to standardize modeling, coordination, and project documentation.

Autodesk’s integrated AEC Collection and associated products enabled federated BIM workflows, routine Navisworks coordination and shared models via BIM 360, helping Cundall catch issues before fabrication, reduce rework, save time and cut costs. The result: repeatable processes rolled out across offices, richer handover data for contractors, and the delivery of high‑profile, technically demanding projects (including the London Olympics Media Centre and Telehouse North Two), while giving Cundall greater flexibility and scope for innovation through Autodesk.
