Case Study: Borga (Swedish hall construction company) achieves faster, more accurate design-to-manufacture workflows with Autodesk AutoCAD

A Autodesk Case Study

Preview of the Borga Case Study

Bringing Large Steel Structures to Life

Borga, a Swedish hall construction company founded in 1973 with more than 300 employees and production sites in Sweden, Poland and Lithuania, needed a way to produce architectural drawings early in the sales process because many clients come without designs. To support on-the-spot estimating and clearer proposals, Borga equipped its sales and engineering teams with Autodesk AutoCAD (Architecture toolset) and uses Revit for final design consolidation.

Using Autodesk AutoCAD, Borga’s sales leaders create 2D and 3D drafts during quoting to calculate frames, concrete and roofing costs and present clear visuals to customers; engineers finalize revisions in AutoCAD and Revit and send DWG files to in-house manufacturing. The Autodesk-driven workflow has increased transparency in cost negotiations, sped up design iterations, differentiated Borga from competitors, and ensured consistent, manufacturable outputs from estimate to finished building.
