AutoCAD LT opens doors for interior designer

Red Bean Interior Design, a Canadian interior design firm led by Amanda McLennan, faced the challenge of moving beyond hand-drawn sketches to offer more precise, buildable documentation for clients, contractors, and suppliers. To expand services and improve project coordination, the firm adopted Autodesk’s AutoCAD LT, with Kristi Lee Robb bringing CAD expertise to the team.

Using AutoCAD LT, Robb produced scaled floor plans, elevations, lighting/electrical and cabinetry layouts for the Burnside Cottage kitchen renovation, enabling accurate cabinet quotes, resolving millwork and door-spacing issues down to millimeters, and accelerating communication between designers, contractors and suppliers.
