A Autodesk Fusion Lifecycle Case Study
SawStop, founded in 2001, is North America’s best-selling cabinet saw maker known for an integrated blade‑braking technology that dramatically reduces saw-related injuries. As its engineering teams grew and worked with partners overseas, SawStop needed a better way to share design information and maintain real‑time collaboration and access to product data while staff were traveling.
By adopting Autodesk Fusion Lifecycle, SawStop gave engineers online access to design data from anywhere, organized PLM bills of material independently of PDM, and eliminated the need for VPNs, replication servers, and complex network configuration. The result was simpler, more flexible collaboration and immediate access to the information engineers need on the road.
