Mesa Laboratories, a Colorado-based manufacturer of process validation and monitoring instruments, faced growing pains after multiple acquisitions left different facilities using disparate systems and manual "red folder" change control. Legacy ERP and document-management systems were out of sync, causing BOM versioning errors, inefficiencies in change approvals, and regulatory risk during ISO/FDA audits.

Mesa implemented NetSuite ERP and Autodesk Fusion Lifecycle PLM—integrated in the Cloud (using Jitterbit)—to automate BOM and change-order management across four U.S. sites and 100+ users. The integration eliminated manual workflows, auto-synced approved BOMs to ERP, and cut change-order processing from two weeks to two days (and as fast as two hours), reduced versioning errors, and produced favorable audit results.
