Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, a leading provider of integrated health care services in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire, needed to reduce paper usage and replace lengthy, manual processes that were time-consuming and prone to human error. The Trust’s project team was looking for a more digital way to manage capital developments, refurbishments, snagging, submittals, and site information. Autodesk Construction Cloud, through PlanGrid, supported this move to paperless working.
Using Autodesk Construction Cloud’s PlanGrid, the Trust centralized project information, captured site data digitally, tracked tasks and completion dates, marked up drawings, and streamlined snagging and sign-off workflows. The result was faster, more productive project management with less manual input and better access to up-to-date information. While contractors are not yet using the tool, the Trust says the shift has already changed how the team works and could further reduce manual effort if extended across external partners.
