Montana DOT faced the challenge of improving collaboration, data sharing, and project delivery across complex road and highway projects while dealing with fragmented information, paper-based workflows, and the need for safer, more efficient infrastructure work. With Autodesk Construction Cloud, Montana DOT implemented BIM in a phased rollout that included aligning on strategy, piloting software, standardizing model data, and training project teams and partners. The result was better coordination and a more unified workflow that helped MDT deliver projects on time and on budget, while Autodesk Construction Cloud also enabled safer, more efficient digital construction practices across the lifecycle.
