Case Study: Polytek improves collaboration and data security with Autodesk Construction Cloud

A Autodesk Construction Cloud Case Study

Preview of the Polytek Case Study

Improving Collaboration and Connectivity Through A Single Source of Truth on Construction Projects in Belgium

Polytek, an engineering services company in Belgium specializing in piping, structural, civils, and mechanical design, needed a better way to manage project data across design and construction while keeping sensitive information secure. Before adopting Autodesk Construction Cloud, the team relied on SharePoint and manual file-sharing methods that made it difficult to control permissions for external collaborators and maintain a consistent, up-to-date source of project information.

Using Autodesk Construction Cloud’s BIM 360 and Autodesk Build, Polytek created a single cloud-based environment for data, workflows, and communication across office and jobsite teams. Autodesk Construction Cloud improved collaboration, transparency, and accountability, reduced manual file-handling like WeTransfer transfers, and allowed site photos and project files to be shared in real time. The company has already rolled Autodesk Build out across all current live projects and plans to expand its use for future construction closeout activities.
