How CRB Reduces Waste and Improves Timelines with Lean Construction Principles

CRB, a global design, construction, and consulting services firm, needed a better way to reduce waste, improve schedules, and keep complex industrial projects aligned from design through handover. Working in lean construction environments, CRB wanted to eliminate redundant rework, improve coordination with trade partners, and connect the field and office in a common data environment using Autodesk Construction Cloud products such as BIM 360, PlanGrid, Assemble, and BuildingConnected.

Using Autodesk Construction Cloud, CRB co-authored models with trade partners, centralized project data, automated clash detection, and improved field-to-office collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. The results included stronger budget tracking, fewer RFIs and change orders, reduced rework, and at least two weeks saved per project; on one MycoTechnology project, CRB delivered the facility 60% faster and cut time to fabrication by half.
