Case Study: Milton Keynes University Hospital improves patient experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud

A Autodesk Construction Cloud Case Study

Harnessing Data and Technology to Redefine The Milton Keynes’ Patient Experience

Milton Keynes University Hospital (MKUH) partnered with Autodesk Construction Cloud to improve how it managed building data for its estate upgrades under the UK Government’s New Hospital Programme. The hospital identified inefficiencies caused by missing or fragmented project information, limited as-built asset data, and poor visibility across collaborators during work such as the Cancer Centre build.

Using Autodesk Construction Cloud products including Autodesk Docs, Autodesk Tandem, and Autodesk Revit, MKUH created a common data environment and developed COBie-based asset information linked to 3D models. Autodesk Construction Cloud helped the hospital improve version control, align with ISO 19650, and generate an early digital twin, enabling better collaboration, higher-quality project delivery, and more informed future estate planning.
