Case Study: MBG improves collaboration and project delivery with Autodesk Construction Cloud

Collaborating for Success on a brand-new Exhibition Hall and Conference Centre in Bruges

MBG, a Belgian general contractor with more than 140 years of experience, needed a better way to coordinate a large design-build project for a new exhibition hall and conference centre in Bruges. Working with many collaborators, including designers, subcontractors, and supply chain partners, the team wanted a common data environment to improve communication, transparency, and project control. MBG turned to Autodesk Construction Cloud, using Autodesk BIM 360 to help manage the project.

With support from Arkance Systems, Autodesk Construction Cloud implemented BIM 360 as a central platform for markups, document storage, issue tracking, and real-time communication. The result was stronger collaboration, better accountability, and time savings, with subcontractors estimating around 10% savings through clash detection. MBG also reported smoother delivery, fewer email exchanges, and fewer delays, and has since expanded use of Autodesk Construction Cloud across about 80% of its design-build portfolio.
