Cloud-based Collaboration Makes Resilient Infrastructure Possible on the Largest Dike in the Netherlands

LEVVEL, a consortium working on the Afsluitdijk renewal project in the Netherlands, faced the challenge of coordinating more than 500 stakeholders across architecture, civil engineering, and construction on a massive, multidisciplinary infrastructure program. To manage design, preconstruction, and quality workflows on the largest dike in the Netherlands, LEVVEL used Autodesk Construction Cloud products including BIM 360 and Assemble.

Autodesk Construction Cloud helped LEVVEL create a common data environment for cloud-based collaboration, model coordination, quantity takeoff, and quality management. The result was faster review cycles—cut from about five days to one, an 80% reduction—along with about 50% time savings on quantity takeoff updates, improved clash detection, and better decision-making across the project.
