Stantec finishes mixed-use project faster with BIM collaboration software

Stantec, a multi‑discipline architecture firm working on the large Brentwood Mall redevelopment (8 acres, a parkade and ten residential towers of over 60 floors), needed a better way to coordinate complex Revit models and communicate across multiple offices and consultants. To address these challenges they adopted Autodesk BIM 360—using Autodesk BIM 360 Team and Collaboration for Revit—to centralize model access and collaboration in the cloud.

Autodesk BIM 360 provided a central cloud repository where teams and the client could view, comment on, and track versions of Revit models in real time, which saved hours weekly, sped up coordination, and allowed the client to participate directly via a web browser for the first time. Using Autodesk BIM 360’s collaboration tools and digitized comments, Stantec resolved issues faster, maintained clear version history, and delivered the project more efficiently.
