JJ Rhatigan & Company, one of Ireland’s leading general building contractors, faced the challenge of adopting model-based working without a national BIM mandate. To improve coordination, host models centrally, and give subcontractors clearer project information, JJ Rhatigan & Company built on earlier Autodesk Revit and Navisworks use and chose Autodesk BIM 360—including BIM 360 Glue and BIM 360 Field—for cloud-based collaboration across its projects.

Using Autodesk BIM 360, JJ Rhatigan & Company rolled out cloud model hosting, clash detection and remote access to quality, environmental and H&S forms, alongside training for staff. The company trained over 100 employees, is using BIM on 20 projects, and reports faster decision-making, fewer minor clashes, more productive meetings and streamlined site processes thanks to the Autodesk BIM 360 platform.
