A Autodesk BIM 360 Case Study
Stamhuis, a Benelux retail shopfitting and construction specialist founded in 1926, faced fragmented project information, frequent execution errors, outdated or conflicting drawings, and inefficient defect tracking that drove production mistakes, delays, and extra costs. To address these challenges they turned to Autodesk BIM 360 and other Autodesk tools to centralize data and support their Stamhuis Total Concept—an integrated approach from design and engineering to prefabrication and installation.
Working with Autodesk BIM 360, Stamhuis implemented an integrated digital workflow and a reusable BIM 360 project template, and is developing generative design for store layouts with the Autodesk team. The solution centralized BIM data, connected systems (ERP, planning, maintenance) and improved collaboration; results include a 15% reduction in design and construction mistakes over three years, a 10% gain in project team efficiency, one‑week shopfitting turnarounds, and a projected 10% annual ROI improvement.
