Case Study: Rosendin Electric achieves standardized quality and reduced rework with Autodesk BIM 360

A Autodesk BIM 360 Case Study

Preview of the Rosendin Case Study

How Rosendin Electric Builds on Its History of Quality with a Common Data Environment

Rosendin, a $2.9 billion specialty contractor based in San Jose, faced fragmented data and inconsistent quality workflows across multiple platforms (including Autodesk BIM 360 and PlanGrid), which made it hard to capture accurate, standardized project data and drive continuous improvement. To close those gaps and reduce rework, Rosendin evaluated options and selected Autodesk Build from the Autodesk BIM 360 family to provide a common data environment and more intuitive tools for field and office teams.

Using Autodesk Build (from Autodesk BIM 360), Rosendin implemented standardized templates, forms, checklists, and quality-management workflows, and leveraged Autodesk Bridge to share files with general contractors while retaining data ownership. The single-platform approach improved visibility into the latest information, reduced data gaps and rework, sped up handoffs, and helped lower costs and safety risks—enabling Rosendin to extract and visualize reliable data to drive schedule and quality improvements.
