How Build Health International Is Improving Patient Access to Healthcare

Build Health International (BHI) is a nonprofit that partners with governments and global health organizations to design and build affordable, sustainable healthcare facilities in under‑resourced markets. Facing fragmented communications, inconsistent data capture, and the need to scale faster while lowering costs, BHI turned to Autodesk BIM 360 and the broader Autodesk Construction Cloud toolset (including Docs, BIM Collaborate, and Build) to standardize workflows and unify project data from design through handover.

Using Autodesk BIM 360’s Autodesk Construction Cloud products, BHI implemented a common data environment, customized training, and a “How We BIM” playbook to standardize capture and coordination across teams. The solution improved clash detection and field collaboration, enabled centralized document management and photo‑based progress tracking, and delivered measurable gains: 20% faster delivery of construction‑ready models to the field, 15–20% time savings resolving RFIs, and 35 projects completed in 2023 using Autodesk Construction Cloud.
